Claudio Forcada
Claudio Forcada is the author of a thesis on effectiveness in violin pedagogy. Forcada specializes in the pedagogy of stringed instruments, specifically in the Rolland, Suzuki, Zweig and Kato Havas methods. Every year, you are invited to courses and conferences in countries such as Iceland, England, Austria, Germany, France, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, Scotland, Italy, Wales, El Salvador and Spain. Dr. Forcada is the author of six documentaries on A Pedagogy of String Instruments and Music Education, in addition to being a teacher in these subjects at Valencian International University. In 2012, he received the award Ernest Newman from Birmigham City University, for its work in motor learning and instrumental pedagogy. In 2013, he received government recognition from the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, for his contribution to music education in this country. Currently, he directs annual courses for string instrumentalists and rope teacher training in London and Dinan (France); director of the “Scherzo Workshop” and the “Seminar for String Teachers” (both in London); Founder and member of the NGO Management Committee children4music and director of "Music of the Future", an education program through music for disadvantaged children; gives par teachers in Goa (India) and is the director of the Forcada Studio in London.
