Portuguese National Violin Competition “Prémio Arcada”
The 1st Portuguese National Violin Competition ‘Prémio Arcada’, a new feature of the 4th edition of the Arcada Festival, is a unique opportunity for young violinists up to the age of 17 to showcase their talent and develop their musical skills. With five categories, the competition's main objectives are to stimulate a taste for music, promote the study of the violin and encourage interaction between students from different artistic schools in the country. In addition, it seeks to valorise musical performance and support the talent of young national musicians, creating an environment of exchange and growth among all participants.
