Rita Carreiras is a professional musician and cultural producer with a degree in Music from the Porto School of Music and Performing Arts and a Master’s degree in Creative Industries Management from the Portuguese Catholic University. Since 2022, she has collaborated with Good Mood – ECO & ART ORG, in the curation and production of the Boom Festival, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Associação Cultural Sinfonietta de Braga. He has also collaborated with the Musical Association Quarteto de Cordas de Matosinhos, the company Artshare – Intelligence, Technology, Art – and the Associação Estação Viva. As a viola player, he performs and creates music in a wide variety of styles and languages, from opera and jazz to heavy metal and contemporary electroacoustics. She regularly performs with orchestras such as the Porto Casa da Música Symphony Orchestra and the Algarve Orchestra, among many others. She is co-founder of LAGARTO trio and collaborates with projects such as Inspiration Live Music and ADLIB strings.
