Since winning the first prize and gold medal no international tchaikovsky competition at age 22, Narek Hakhnazaryan has claimed to be one of the most outstanding cellists of his generation. Recognized for its brilliant technique and great expressiveness, it regularly presents itself with important international orchestras.He performed solo with A Chicago Symphony Orchestra, A Los Angeles Philharmonic, A London Symphony Orchestra e A NHK Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Valerery Gergiev e Manfred Honeck. He was also an artist on the BBC New Generation program and performed at No BBC Proms.He is also an active chamber musician, participating in international festivals and collaborating with several prominent artists. He is a founding member of z.e.n. Trio, which makes international tours and has acclaimed recordings.In addition to his career as a soloist, he recently started an activity as a conductor and founded in 2024 A Artsakh Orchestra, of which he is artistic director and main conductor.Born in Yerevan, he studied with mstislav rostropovich and later in the Moscow State Conservatory e new England Conservatory. He currently develops an international career as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor.
